I would be honoured to represent this beautiful riding in Parliament.
Scroll down to learn more about me, and why I am the right choice for Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi.
Over the past 15 years, I've worked as a political advisor, lobbyist, management consultant, and public servant. I have an established network and a track record of getting things done.
I've worked on a dozen political campaigns in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ottawa. I've learned what it takes to win and I will build the team that will win in Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi.
I have lived in Quebec three separate times, including Chelsea for the past six years. I studied and majored in French and I have chosen to put my children in French school and daycare.
Over the last 15 years, I've worked as a political advisor, lobbyist, management consultant and public servant. I've also worked on a dozen political campaigns and I have and know what it takes to win. I've learned how to get things down in Ottawa and would work every day to get things done for the people of Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi.
My family and I have made the Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi riding our home for the past six years, and the region for the past 15. We love the people here, the sense of community and, of course, the ability to spend as much time in Gatineau Park as is humanly possible. My parents were huge promoters of Quebec and the French language, and they fought and sacrificed to bring French immersion to my Manitoba hometown. As your MP, I will promote and defend Quebec culture and values, and the importance of the French language in the social fabric of our country.
There are many reasons that I've chosen to run now for political office. In Part 1, meet my father who passed away a year ago today. Politics was a huge part of our relationship and I feel like he's been with me every step of the way on my campaign. I will represent Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi in a way that people here deserve, and in a way that would have made my Dad proud.
There are many reasons that I've chosen to run now for political office. In Part 2, I talk about the consequences of having a government who spends with reckless abandon even two years past the pandemic, printing billions of dollars to pay for that spending. These include a massive debt, higher prices for everything, and housing that has become out of reach for young Canadians.
On Canada Day, we celebrate the country we call home. Some of us were born here, and some of us chose here. All of us are lucky to be Canadian. A country with clean air, clean water, and big open spaces. Full of kind people, allowed to be who we are and to pursue whatever dreams we may choose.
Trudeau and his Liberals are facing defeat, Their team is all leaving, their prospects are bleak, 15 points down in the polls, still they bet, they’ll solve it with spending, by adding more debt. So call the vote, it’s time for a change, Can’t wait a year, man, that’s just cray, Jagmeet pulled the plug. You know it’s time to quit, When you’re kissing the @#$% of the separatists.
Last week, Yves-François Blanchet and the Bloc showed us that they no longer represent young Quebecers. With a weakened Liberal Party, willing to do anything to secure their support, Mr. Blanchet didn’t make any demands regarding housing, the cost of living, or youth unemployment. Instead, he demanded more debt, which will have to be repaid by young Canadians.
Another candidate is vying for the federal Conservative Party nomination for the Pontiac riding, Chelsea resident Brian Goodman. Goodman has worked in federal politics for more than a decade, for a member of parliament, in the civil service and as a lobbyist.
